Position Statement

For consumers seeking information and businesses seeking customers, the Los Angeles Newspaper Group is the premium local content provider and voice of the community that informs and delivers everyday while striving to provide exceptional value and service.

History of the Los Angeles Newspaper Group

Each of the newspapers comprising the group maintains a large and loyal subscriber base. Beginning with the founding of the Pasadena Star-News in 1884, the newspapers all have a well-established history of serving their respective local communities and those who reside within them.

Today, the growing population and continued sprawl of the Los Angeles market has made these surrounding communities too important to overlook. Together they account for over one-half of the L.A. DMA's total population, households and retail sales.
